Happy Monday! Yes, it's Still Summer!

It's starting out hot today, for the end of August, but suppose to cool down some by the end of week.  I will miss summer, but love fall so much that I look forward to the cool crisp weather and the sights, sounds and smells of the autumn season.   I love the harvest, the pumpkins, halloween, fall leaves.  I know that winter will follow--another kinda bad one from what "they" say--but what do "they" know???   Hopefully not as much as they think.     Happy Monday!

Welcome to my Brand New Blog!

Welcome!  Since for some unknown reason, the blogger would not let me edit and write on my old blog, I will just start a NEW one.  It's been a long time since I've written on a Blog, so bear with me.  Am looking forward to a week of visiting and running around with my brother and sister-in-law!  A little tidy up tomorrow, a fresh apple crisp and wa-la , I'll be ready.  Speaking of apples--today's picture features my Grandson, Nicholas eating a carmel apple at the Iowa State Fair!  How cute!
